Shrujna is a postdoctoral research fellow in Prof Russell Dale’s Clinical Neuroimmunology team at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Shrujna investigates neurodevelopmental disorders in children, such as Autism, ADHD, Tics and OCD, with specific focus on environmental risk factors and immune-brain interactions. Shrujna’s research involves detailed phenotyping of clinical cohorts, as well as biological investigations (transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional assays). Her work aims to increase our understanding of disease mechanisms and improve treatment options for these complex disorders.
